FEATURED EVENTS
Tony McManus
Scots born and now Canada based, Tony McManus has come to be recognized throughout the world as the leading guitarist in Celtic music. Through Tony’s hands the emotions of celtic music are transferred to the guitar and the listener is drawn into the driving energy of a reel or the timeless atmosphere of a lament - each finding an authentic voice through his interpretation.

Grapes of Wrath & Odds
The Grapes of Wrath were formed in Kelowna, B.C. in 1983 by Chris Hooper, Tom Hooper and Kevin Kane. In 1984, they signed to Nettwerk records, releasing a self-titled EP that year. The following year, their debut album "September Bowl of Green" was released. It was a major hit on university and college radio in Canada and the U.S. "Now and Again", released in 1989, was the band's big breakthrough. The singles "All The Things I Wasn't" and then "What Was Going Through My Head" propelled the album to platinum status.

Often, life's experiences find their way into new songs and onto albums. If you're Canadian power-pop legends Odds, you decide to share those experiences on stage. 1995 saw the band break into the mainstream. "Good Weird Feeling" yielded six Top 40 singles, including "Truth Untold" and "Eat My Brain". They quickly followed up with Nest in 1996, which featured the band's first #1 chart hit to date, the irresistibly catchy "Someone Who is Cool".

Crash Test Dummies (Acoustic)
The band first rose to prominence while based in their hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1991 with their Juno Award-winning debut album, The Ghosts that Haunt Me, featuring their first hit single, "Superman's Song". Their 1993 breakout record "God Shuffled His Feet" has sold over five and a half million copies worldwide. The band is currently touring with an acoustic show to promote their ninth album "Oooh La La".

Calgary Opera - The Magic Flute
Mozart’s whimsical opera comes to life as Calgary Opera’s Emerging Artist ensemble performs The Magic Flute for its 2012 Opera in Schools tour. This fantastical journey through a mythical world is an ideal 45-minute introduction to opera for young audiences in a fully-staged production with piano accompaniment.

The Prairie Mountain Fiddlers
Back again by popular demand! This will be a foot-stomping, toe-tapping evening full of good old-time fiddle music. This group plays for the people and for their love of the music. It is just good old-fashioned fun.
